FOREIGN LOGISTIC COORDINATOR

The Foreign Logistic Coordinator but not limited to the following duties:
Collaborate with the Corporate Export Compliance Manager for identifying correct schedule B
Arrange and process all airfreight from the U.S. through shipper (DHL) portal
Work closely with consolidators to issue commercial invoices, packing lists & shipping instructions
Maintain log of foreign purchases and all related information critical to the timely importation of goods
Work closely with local purchasing team on all issues related to the Purchase Order
Communication with foreign suppliers’ order confirmation, packing list and shipment status
Provide forecast of delivery of foreign purchased goods to end user departments
Collaborate with the freight forwarded (Flexport), Port Ops Manager and Central Receiving to facilitate on time-on schedule clearing of goods through customs
Investigate Overages, Shortages & Damages (OS&D) for imported goods and work with vendors for resolution
Coordinate with Transport, Port, Account payable & Central Receiving teams on customs related matters & cargo tracking and others issues
The role will also be responsible for continuing to improve processes, reports, and date to make our internal and external teams more efficient
IMPORT SALES SUPERVISOR

The main responsibility of an Export and Import Manager is to foresee the movement of goods between the home country and other countries. Managers should manage the import coming to the home country as well as exporting of goods going out of the home country along with the general duties at the office. It is also essential to keep in touch with freight forwarders professionals from logistics companies retailer units and manufacturers. The environment in which an export-import manager working is rapidly changing and is very fast paced.
It is essential for the Import Export Manager to ensure that the employees comply with the rules and regulations of the home country as well as the exporting country. The manager is also responsible for the penalties that may occur if the rules and regulations are violated. Any delays that may occur during the export and import process should also be controlled by the manager.
It is the responsibility of the Import-Export Manager to monitor the arrangements that the employees make for forwarding the freight at the desired time in a cost-effective way. Any delays in the shipment need to be notified to the customer by the employees in the organization by the Import and Export manager. The Import and Exports Manager should check whether there are opportunities for lowering the cost of the freight forwarding and shipment charges. issues related to time zone delays also need to be managed by the Import-Export manger.
Keeping good relationships with the government agencies, clients and vendors are essential for the Import-Export manager to be successful in his position. It is also essential to arrange meetings with the clients regularly for keeping the good relationships. Renewing contracts with the clients and vendors depends a lot on the relationship status an Import and Export Manager keeps with them.

It aims at candidates with experience in labour and social movements willing to assist organisations in these fields in engaging more effectively in social dialogue, public debate, and policy implementation. I have learned to analyse and discuss the challenges of globalisation from a labour and trade union perspective in a multidisciplinary context. The programme offers a multicultural and multiregional environment with students and lecturers from developing, transition and industrialised countries.
